How does Flippedit calculate my profits?
Flippedit automatically imports your eBay sales data and calculates your true profit by tracking all costs including eBay fees (final value fees, insertion fees, promoted listings), PayPal/payment processing fees, shipping costs, and item acquisition costs. Our profit tracking updates in real-time whenever you make a sale.
Do I need to manually enter my eBay listings?
No! Flippedit connects directly to your eBay account via eBay's official API. Once connected, all your active listings, sales, and fees are automatically imported. You'll only need to add cost information for items you want to track profitability on. Setup takes less than 5 minutes.
Is my eBay data secure?
Absolutely. We use bank-level 256-bit SSL encryption to protect your data. We connect to eBay through their official OAuth 2.0 authentication, which means we never see or store your eBay password. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest on our secure servers.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes! There are no contracts or commitments. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel, you'll retain access to Flippedit until the end of your billing period. We also offer a 7-day free trial so you can test all features risk-free.
What's the difference between Basic and Pro plans?
Both plans include unlimited listings and real-time profit tracking. The Basic plan is perfect for new sellers and includes standard profit tracking with basic insights. The Pro plan offers enhanced profit insights with deeper analytics and priority email support. Most serious sellers find the Pro plan's enhanced features help them scale faster.
Does Flippedit work with other marketplaces besides eBay?
Currently, Flippedit is optimized specifically for eBay sellers to provide the most accurate profit tracking for that platform. However, we're actively developing integrations for other marketplaces like Amazon, Poshmark, and Mercari. Join our mailing list to be notified when these features launch!
What kind of support do you offer?
Basic plan users receive email support with responses typically within 24-48 hours. Pro plan users get priority support with faster response times (usually within 4-8 hours) plus direct phone support during business hours. All users have access to our comprehensive help center with video tutorials, guides, and FAQs available 24/7.
Can I track bulk items or lots?
Yes! You can create a Bulk Purchase item which tracks the total number of items and the total cost for those items. Flippedit then generates a bulk code and automatically calculates the average cost of goods (COG) for each item in the lot. This makes it easy to understand your per-item profitability when buying inventory in bulk.
Can I import my existing Cost of Goods and Shipping data?
Yes! Flippedit supports CSV imports for both Active Listings and Sold Items. You can import your Cost of Goods (COG) and Shipping fees from your own spreadsheets, exported data from other applications, or any records you've been keeping. We provide CSV templates with the correct column headings to make importing seamless. Simply download our template, fill in your data, and upload - the headings link automatically to ensure your data is mapped correctly.
Does Flippedit support consignment tracking?
Consignment tracking is not currently available, but it's on our roadmap! We're developing features specifically for sellers who work with consignment inventory, including split payment tracking and consignor reporting. This will help you manage items you're selling on behalf of others. Stay tuned for updates on this feature launch.
